Each year the recipient of the Legacy of Excellence Scholarship winner is announced during the Abingdon High School Senior Assembly. Between the announcement and the annual golf tournament fundraising a reception is held in honor of the scholarship winner, the Abingdon High School staff honoree(s).
During the event, the distinguished guests are recognized along with their families.
